Kevin Humes Cornhole Tournament 2024

We are excited to announce that our 4th Annual Kevin Humes Memorial Cornhole Tournament raised an incredible $5,000! Fourth Annual Walk for Kevin

We gathered for the 4th Annual Memorial Walk in honor of our beloved Kevin. With an incredible turnout, friends and family came together to participate in the 5K walk, celebrating what would have been Kevin’s 40th birthday while also recognizing the day we lost him. The atmosphere was filled with unwavering love and support as participants donned matching shirts, shared memories, and walked side by side, embodying the spirit of community that Kevin cherished.

Kevin Humes Cornhole Tournament 2023

Our 3rd Annual Kevin Humes Memorial Cornhole Tournament was a roaring success! We are thrilled to announce that our event exceeded all expectations, and we were able to raise over $3,000 for the Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation. It is all thanks to the overwhelming generosity and enthusiasm of our community. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our incredible donors who made a significant impact with their contributions. Third Annual Walk for Kevin

On May 20, 2023, Kevin’ village gathered to commemorate 3 years since Kevin’s death and what would have been Kevin’s 39th birthday. On this particularly hard day, we were reminded of the good in the world as people carved time out of their day to walk together in Kevin’s memory and show support for seeking justice on his behalf. After the walk, Kevin’s village spent time remembering all the things that made him so unique and special to this world.

Donations from the Cornhole Tournament

The Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation purchased $2,000 worth of toys for the CHOP Holiday Toy Drive. The toys were hand delivered by members of Kevin’s family with a special appearance from Santa! The gifts as well as a monetary donation to The Philadelphia Outward Bound School were made in Kevin’s memory from the funds generated during The 2nd Annual Kevin Humes Cornhole Tournament.

Kevin Humes Cornhole Tournament 2022

We had our 2nd annual Cornhole Tournament in memory of Kevin. This successful event was full of friendly Cornhole competition, an exciting raffle, and fond memories of Kevin. Through the entry fee and raffle, we raised $2,217 to support local charities in Kevin’s memory! We will post those donations when they go out so stay tuned. Donation to Everytown For Gun Safety

After the tragic loss of 21 lives in the Uvalde school shooting, The Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation made a donation to the Everytown For Gun Safety organization. Our donation helps the Everytown For Gun Safety organization work to prevent gun violence and save lives by: Taking on armed extremism Pressuring lawmakers to improve our gun laws Educating the public about common-sense gun laws and responsible gun ownership Mobilizing grassroots supporters Amplifying the voices of survivors of gun violence Included is the link if you would like to learn ways to further take action against gun violence.

Second Annual Walk for Kevin

On May 15, 2022, Kevin’s family and friends gathered for the second annual 5k Walk for Kevin in his memory. This date marks two years since Kevin’s life was tragically taken from him om his short walk home. Kevin’s village continues to stand together in gaining his justice.

Donation to Outward Bound Philiadelphia

The Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation has made a donation in Kevin’s memory to The Philadelphia Outward Bound School. An added bonus: All donations are doubled in the month of May! Kevin was a lover of all things outdoors. He joined Boy Scouts at a young age and ultimately earned his badge as an Eagle Scout. Through the Boy Scout program, Kevin spent many years of his life exploring the outdoors. He carried this love of nature into his adulthood.
