6th Annual Walk for Kevin

For the 6th year in a row, family and friends gathered to honor Kevin’s life, reflect on the love he shared, and remember the bright, kind, and unforgettable person he was. The Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation is grateful to everyone who continues to show up, give back, and help keep Kevin’s light shining. Each year, this event reminds us that although Kevin may no longer be with us, the love he shared continues to bring people together and inspire us to make a difference in our community.

’Tis the Season of Giving: Continuing Kevin’s Legacy of Kindness

Through the Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation, we continue to honor Kevin’s memory by supporting organizations and families in our community. This holiday season, the Foundation was proud to make donations to three meaningful causes, each representing the compassion and generosity Kevin shared throughout his life. Giving Back to Children at CHOP The Foundation once again supported the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Toy Drive. This year, CHOP introduced new guidelines requiring toy donations to be made virtually rather than through in-kind donations.

Kevin Humes Cornhole Tournament 2025

We are proud to share that the 5th Annual Kevin Humes Memorial Cornhole Tournament was a tremendous success, raising $6,000 to support the CHOP Holiday Toy Drive and other local charities that reflect the values Kevin held dear. We came together once again for the 5th Annual Memorial Walk in loving memory of Kevin. Each year, this gathering becomes more than just a walk—it becomes a powerful reminder of Kevin’s lasting impact on all of us. Under a beautiful sky and surrounded by familiar faces, friends, family, and supporters joined together to walk the 5K route with purpose and heart. Matching shirts, laughter, and heartfelt stories filled the day, as we reflected on Kevin’s legacy and the values he held dear—kindness, connection, and community.

Honoring Kevin: 5 Years Later

May 16, 2025 marks five years since Kevin was taken from us, and not a day passes without his absence being deeply felt. As we reflect on his life, his laughter, and the countless ways he made the world brighter, we are reminded of the importance of carrying his legacy forward. In Kevin’s honor, the Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation has made a $1,000 donation to the National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship Fund.

Honoring Kevin on His 40th Birthday

Today would have marked Kevin’s 40th birthday, and while we continue to feel the deep loss of his presence, we also choose to celebrate the incredible life he lived and the joy he brought to so many. In honor of this milestone, the Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation made a donation to the Eagles Autism Foundation — an organization that reflects causes Kevin believed in and values he held close. Supporting this foundation is a meaningful way to carry forward his legacy of compassion, inclusion, and community.

Fourth Annual Walk for Kevin

Donation too Vetri Community Partnership in Kevin’s Memory

In honor of Kevin’s legacy, the Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation has proudly donated $500 to the Vetri Community Partnership. This impactful nonprofit organization brings nutrition education to life through the art of cooking, reaching more than 30,000 children and families annually across Philadelphia and Camden. Our contribution will help fund nutritious ingredients for a 10-week Vetri Cooking Lab workshop, empowering students to build healthy habits in the kitchen and beyond.☀️
